Join Moonbot Studios and Brandon Oldenburg for special screenings of Taking Flight, our latest animated short film at the San Francisco International Film Festival.

Watch Taking Flight alongside other films perfect for the whole family on April 30th at 10:30 AM – and meet the filmmakers, including Brandon Oldenburg! Academy Award® nominees and past Pixar art directors Dice Tsutsumi and Robert Kondo (Tonko House), Adventure Time supervising director Elizabeth Ito and Peter Lord of Aardman Animations are all expected to attend. Brandon will be signing a limited number of Taking Flight posters for kids after the screening. Buy tickets and learn more about the screening at

Looking for something more hands-on for your kiddo? Join Brandon for a workshop that’ll bring you back to a place that we call “imagination,” where we’ve all been at some point in our childhood. Brandon will guide participants through the creative process of making Taking Flight, and discuss how finding the kid inside all of us drives everything here at Moonbot Studios. Then, much like the young protagonist in the film, students will use their own creativity, drawing and design skills to transform an ordinary toy into something extraordinary. Join in the fun:
